Corey Schieler

As Ventures Director, Corey is responsible for finding and executing strategic venture capital investment opportunities on behalf of State Farm® with a focus on investments that help make the Company more innovative and competitive. He has more than 24 years of institutional asset management experience, including equities and fixed income. In his spare time, Corey serves on the Illinois Wesleyan University endowment investment committee and is chairman of a student-managed portion of the endowment. He is also a longtime wish granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and has granted over 30 wishes. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and holds the CFA and CPCU designations.
