Kevin Carlson

Based in Chicago, Kevin is Amazon's Global Head of Business Development for Amazon Rekognition. Amazon Rekognition offers pre-trained and customizable computer vision capabilities to extract information and insights from your images and videos. Amazon Rekognition allows our customers to analyze millions of images and stored videos within seconds, and scales up and down based on your business needs.

Prior to AWS, Kevin spent 16 years at AECOM, most recently as Corporate Vice President and AECOM’s Global Lead for Digital Transformation. Kevin drove global AECOM initiatives including digital and generative design, applying artificial intelligence to improve efficiency in engineering and inspection, asset management, immersive technologies, modern construction, and data platforms. Kevin was also responsible for leveraging AECOM’s partnerships with global technology and cloud companies to modernize AECOM’s market offerings, and for guiding innovative teams from across the business as they developed new and compelling digital solutions for public and private sector infrastructure customers.
