Mike McAra

Mike helps technology companies unlock their potential within the real estate industry by bringing over a decade of data-driven leadership in scaling high-growth firms across North America. In his role as Director of REACH Canada, he is responsible for providing strategic advice, identifying investments and helping REACH investments deliver additional value around the world, enhancing the value for all real estate practitioners. 

Before joining the REACH and Second Century Ventures team, Mike co-founded several startups in both energy and real estate tech, working and living around the globe in Canada, Europe, and Australia. 

Mike graduated from the University of Calgary with a Geology degree and holds an MBA, Summa Cum Laude from the EDHEC Business School. Having previously been a REALTOR, travelled to over 40 countries and has worked in all facets of business from Fortune 500, to startup, to venture, Mike brings a holistic perspective to the REACH and Second Century team.
