Biography

Sam Love is a Republican strategist with a decade of federal legislative and policy expertise in technology, telecommunications, cybersecurity, immigration, and privacy. With an insider’s understanding of how to navigate Congress, Sam develops and executes forward-thinking strategies to help Invariant’s clients achieve their objectives in Washington. He leads client initiatives for Fortune 500 companies and startups alike on issues including online content moderation, telecommunications infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and privacy protection.

Sam joined Invariant after serving as then-Senator Cory Gardner’s (R-CO) senior policy advisor for telecommunications and technology policy on the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee. During his tenure, Sam was instrumental in the development and passage of numerous laws, including the American Innovation and Competitiveness Act, Suicide Hotline Designation Act, and Internet of Things (IoT) Cybersecurity Improvement Act. Additionally, Sam handled the Senator’s immigration portfolio and participated in the 2018 “Gang of Six” bipartisan immigration negotiations. Prior to Gardner’s time in the Senate, Sam worked for him in the House of Representatives.
