Katherine Winston has been working at the confluence of technology, finance, real estate, and entertainment for 25 years as a startup founder, marketer, and content producer. She has guided entrepreneurs and startup teams through financing, growth, acquisition, and IPO stages. Katherine is a passionate advocate for underrepresented founders and executives, co-founding Equity Angels to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the proptech ecosystem. 

At Plunk, she served as Head of Marketing and Founder Member, contributing to brand building, fundraising, and growth strategy execution. Prior to Plunk, Katherine co-founded Winston Baker, the global leader in finance, entertainment, and technology conferences. In this role, she helped to propel the growth of tech startups, production companies, and specialty funds. Katherine also led marketing and communications for a top-ranked Sotheby’s International REALTOR® for over a decade. 

Earlier, she held pivotal marketing positions at successful startups like RealD and GoTV Networks, both of which achieved successful exits. Katherine also produced content on market trends and educational programs for the Alternative Investment Group at Strategic Research Institute (SRI), focusing on finance, real estate, defense, aerospace, and emerging technologies.
